Windows XP Support – The End

WindowsOh no!   It sounds horrible to hear that Microsoft is going to end support for Windows XP.  In windows series, Windows XP is the only operating system used by people for long duration.  Microsoft made lot of changes to windows since its introduction of GUI (Graphical User Interface) and WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get).  Before that, using a computer is a tedious process.  In other words, computers are only used in industries, offices, and in research.  However, windows revolutionized the computer industry through its easy interface.  People loved to use windows.  This Windows 3.11 is not an independent operating system.  It should be started by typing win on the DOS command prompt.  Though, it is known to be user-friendly.  Thereafter Windows 95 came to the market as an independent operating system with multi-tasking support.  Windows 95 is a complete replacement to its predecessors.  Its graphics is excellent compared to windows 3.11.  In addition, there are other things too changed in the computer industry.  Internet made available to public.  JPEG/JPG, GIF file formats for pictures and AVI format for video is introduced.

The Real Power of GUI
Windows95
This Windows 95 is the gateway to millions of people to start learning computer.  In other words, people started to buy computer for their home.  Introduction of user-friendly applications and Microsoft’s support made it to spread all over the world in the short period of time.  But Microsoft is not happy with its version.  Hence Windows 98 came to market with integrated internet support.  During this time, it also came up with windows that are purely designed for corporate.  It is known as client/server computing.  In which there are two operating systems are introduced as Windows NT Server and Windows NT Workstation.  These networking operating systems also had its growth in industries and official areas where more number of computers used.  File securities and sharing is the main feature of this operating system.

Simplicity of Workgroup and Integrated Internet Explorer
According to Windows 98, Microsoft allowed to shift themselves easily by upgrading their OS or by installing it from the scratch.  Windows 98 had several new features and enhanced file system.  It is designed to support large storage space.  The GUI is fine tuned.  Everything becomes perfect with Windows 98.  Internet Explorer connected people around the world.  It is really a lovable experience with Windows 98.  In the technical point of view, its lack of stability made users to feel bad.  The software giant Microsoft introduced Windows XP in the year 2001 with stability, user-friendly and security for files.  There was a big difference in design too.  Visually it provided a great experience to work with windows.  It allowed having multiple users in the same system.  Users can assign password to protect their files.  Furthermore it came with home networking option.  This feature simplified setting up workgroup.  On the other hand users shifted themselves to Windows XP slowly. end support for Windows XP from April 2014.  It will not provide any updates.  It will not fix any issues under XP platform.  Third party applications too will withdraw their support.  Hence the only way is to upgrade computers to Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
WindowsXP But those who started to use XP felt good and they spread their experience to others.  Soon Windows XP started to dominate windows series till today.  Now Windows 7 is on the market running successfully and 8.1 also released, many people still use Windows XP.  Its system recovery feature and Safe Mode experience are considered as great.  Microsoft end support for Windows XP from April 2014.  It will not provide any updates.  It will not fix any issues under XP platform.  Third party applications too will withdraw their support.  Hence the only way is to upgrade computers to Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.

Now Send Your E-Mail Secretly

Sometimes we send emails by hiding our email address for some purposes. Similarly, to prevent reading mail contents by intruders on internet, now we can able to hide our mail content and send to others. The website privnote.com helps for that purpose.

This website helps people to share confidential note via internet in secure form. It offers several features for sending secure email. All we need to do is, compose messages that need to be sent secretly and save it. It generates web address for that message. Then this web address alone can be sent to the receiver through email, messenger, or any other source. Only the receiver can able to read it and that too, only once. Because, after reading the message it will disappear. That is self-destroy by itself. Apart from this it gives notification to us when the receiver reads the message.

Therefore, secrecy is ensured and one who received the link only can able to read this message. Other than concerned receiver, nobody can read the message. By reading this article you will definitely get curiosity of knowing this fact. Experience it once, at least to know the technology that waits for us.

Why Is Bluetooth Called Bluetooth...............?

When two devices need to talk to each other, they need to have a handshake on various parameters before the conversation starts. The first agreement is on the medium – will they use wires, or talk over some wireless signal?

Bluetooth is one such wireless signal (protocol) over which two (or more) devices communicate over.

Strange name though isn’t it – are the bluetooth waves invisible but blue and shaped like teeth? Wrong! There is absolutely no relation between the name and the meaning.

The Bluetooth protocol was created by Ericsson (pre-Sony Ericsson) which is a major Swedish telecommunication company.

They named it after the Danish viking king, Harald Blåtand. As legend goes, Blåtand had the blessed ability to bring people negotiate with each other, and come to talking terms.

So skilled was he, that he was able to unite Denmark and Norway together! The literal translation of Blåtand means blue-tooth, hence the name Bluetooth for the protocol. It does precisely what Blåtand did – lets two wireless device to communicate with each other!

The Bluetooth symbol has Harald Blåtand’s initials inscribed into it (in Runic). The two lines sticking out of the back of the B actually represent a Runic H – thats H for Harald .The B for Bluetooth also stands for Blåtand!

Is English Language Beautiful or Really Complicated

Professor Ernest Brennecke of Columbia is credited with inventing a sentence that can be made to have eight different meanings by placing ONE WORD in all possible positions in the sentence:

"I hit him in the eye yesterday."

The word is "ONLY".

The Message:

1.ONLY I hit him in the eye yesterday. (No one else did.)
2.I ONLY hit him in the eye yesterday. (Did not slap him.)
3.I hit ONLY him in the eye yesterday. (I did not hit others.)
4.I hit him ONLY in the eye yesterday. (I did not hit outside the eye.)
5.I hit him in ONLY the eye yesterday. (Not other organs.)
6.I hit him in the ONLY eye yesterday. (He doesn't have another eye..)
7.I hit him in the eye ONLY yesterday. (Not today.)
8.I hit him in the eye yesterday ONLY. (Did not wait for today.)

This is the beauty and complexity of the English language.
